The immigration law firm of Fong & Chun, LLP gives back to the legal community by serving volunteer attorneys at free immigration workshops, by serving as faculty in immigration law trainings, and by serving as speakers on a variety of discussion panels and seminars focusing on the successful practice of law:
August 8, 2009, Ms. Chun-Fruto will be a volunteer attorney at the Pasadena Hindu Temple from 10:00am to 1:000pm, 676 S. Rosemead Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107.
September 17, 2009, Mr. Fong will be a featured speaker at an Immigration Law Training Course sponsored by the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
September 20, 2009, Ms. Chun-Fruto will be a volunteer attorney at a free legal clinic to be held at the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute, sponsored by the Japanese American Bar Association.
September 25, 2009, Ms. Chun-Fruto will be a featured speaker at a Family Law Training Session sponsored by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center at CARECEN in Los Angeles.
October 17, 2009, Ms. Chun-Fruto will be a featured speaker at the General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Conference sponsored by the American Bar Association.
February 19, 2011, Ms. Chun-Fruto will be a featured speaker for the Los Angeles County Bar Association Attorney Training Session: "RFEs What?, Are You KIdding Me?" She will answer questions and provide instruction and advice on how to deal with the most difficult challenges to employment-based immigration cases, sharing success stories and strategies.
March 2010 and September 2010 - Mr. Fong will be an an instructor on the topic of "Nonworking and Other Visas" for the Los Angeles County Bar Association

January 26, 2012, Ms. Chun-Fruto will be an instructor on the topic of Immigration Fundamentals and Employment-Based Immigration for LawReview CLE at the Sheraton Pasadena Hotel.
